We need your skills and leadership.

The WB PTO has so many great volunteers, but we need more for next year. We also need people to lead some of our vital programs and succession plans for the executive board.

It takes a huge effort from parents, caregivers, teachers, and WB leaders to run the school and organize its family support operation.

If you can volunteer, we need you.

What does the PTO do?
The WB PTO is organized to develop a closer connection between Waverly Belmont and its parents and caregivers. We encourage family involvement to improve the environment at the school through volunteerism and financial support, which enhances the educational and emotional well-being of all students.

The PTO raises and spends tens of thousands of dollars per year to improve the learning environment at WB. We also help organize and support clubs and family service programs, as well as events yearly like summer meetups, the Boo-hoo Breakfast, the Bulldog Bolt, parent socials, and more.

How can you get involved?
If you want to be part of this work, now is your chance! You can volunteer at whatever level you like in whatever area is most appealing to you.

If you really want to be involved and help take charge, let’s talk about getting you into a leadership role.

And if you really, really have a passion for WB, let’s talk about getting you on the executive board.

If you want to volunteer, tell us now!

For leadership roles, here are the skill sets we most:

  • Parents and caregivers with availability during the school day

  • Finance and accounting

  • Legal

  • Communication, marketing and graphic design

  • Fundraising
