Tuesday, August 5, 2025 – BooHoo Breakfast
Kindergarten parents and other parents who are new to WB are invited to come to the cafeteria and meet other parents and the PTO Executive Board after they drop their little one off for the first day of school.
Thursday, August 21, 2025 – Parent Expectation Meeting
Parents are invited to come into the school and meet with your student’s teacher(s) along with the rest of each class’s parents to learn about the teacher’s approach and expectations for the school year. Please note the times for each grade: Kinder -1st 4:30-5:00pm * 2nd-3rd 5:00-5:30pm * 4th-5th 5:30-6:00pm

Tuesday, September 2, 2025 – After School Clubs Start
In addition to a few consistent and every day after-school options, WB offers some supplemental club options. Teachers choose the type of club they want to offer and come up with the subject and curriculum themselves. Teacher/Subject/Day options are communicated ahead of time so families can register. Registration fees are required for these clubs, but there are scholarships available for families that need support.
Friday, September 5, 2025 – Fall Parent/Teacher Social 6-8pm. RSVP HERE!
This is a kid-free event for the school community to get together and enjoy a night out. Teachers and staff will be present as well and it’s always a good time. Book your babysitters and meet us at Fait la force from 6-8pm. No cover charge, simply pay for what your order.
Friday, September 5, 2025 – Bulldog Bolt - Kickoff
The Bulldog Bolt is Waverly Belmont Elementary School's biggest school-wide fundraiser. During the month of September, we ask families, community members, and other WB supporters to donate money to support our school goal. Classrooms and grade levels will receive rewards for raising the most money, but we want to encourage that ANY DOLLAR AMOUNT is so appreciated and makes a difference! The fundraiser culminates with a "Fun Run" for all students.

Monday, September 15, 2025 – Watch DOGS Kickoff @ 6:30 at 2408 Oakland Ave, Nashville, TN 37204 SIGN UP/RSVP HERE!
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a parent involvement program that focuses on safety and education by using the positive influence of father-figures for a two-fold purpose: [1] to provide an fathering presence and [2] to provide a positive and active role model for students at the school. Fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and uncles are asked to spend at least one day at their student’s school volunteering. The kickoff event raises awareness and gets everyone together to start the program for the year.
Saturday, September 27, 2025 – NSC X WB Game
Come cheer on the boys in gold as Nashville Soccer Club takes on Houston Dynamo at Geodis Park. USE THIS LINK to buy tickets and NSC will donate back $5 of every ticket sold to the WB PTO. In addition, if we are the school with the highest number of tickets sold, we will win a visit from TEMPO the Coyote mascot!
Monday, September 29, 2025 – School Picture Day (SSA)
Individual school photos will be taken and available for purchase. Your student will bring home information on how to order. You student should still wear SSA approved clothing for School Photo Day.
Wednesday, October 1, 2025 – Walk/Bike to School Day
A Metro Nashville-wide event where schools organize a walk/bike event to school in the morning. Waverly Belmont meets at Sevier Park and walks/rides together led by staff.

Saturday, October 4, 2025 - WB PTO @ Touch of Brews Festival
Use THIS LINK to get tickets to the Touch Of Brews festival happening in Sevier Park! A portion of ticket sales through this link will be given back to the WB PTO. Kids under 12 are FREE! Thursday, October 9, 2025 – Bulldog Bolt - Fun Run
The Bulldog Bolt is Waverly Belmont Elementary School's biggest school-wide fundraiser. This event concludes the fundraising period with a fun run for all students. Held in Sevier Park, grades will be assigned time slots throughout the day when they will run with their grades, followed by additional activities in the park. Monday, October 27, 2025 through Friday, October 31, 2025 – Book Fair
WB Book Fair is hosted by Literati. Students will be able to shop all week long during their grade level's scheduled times. Times will also be offered for parents to come in and shop as well. Leading up to the fair, communication will come out to explain how to load money on your student’s account and ways to donate to others – Cash is also accepted. WB’s amazing music program presents a curated performance of a chosen theme involving all third grade students. All families are welcome to attend and support your student.
Wednesday, November 19, 2025 – Family Paint Night
WB’s wonderful art program hosts a night when families get to follow along with the art teacher and paint together. It’s a great event and usually a highly sought after ticket because there is limited capacity. Registration information sent out by the school a few weeks before the event.
Thursday, November 20, 2025 – Fall Picture Retakes/Class Pictures
Picture day for all students that want to retake (not required). Standard School Attire (SSA) is still in place for this day. Options to purchase these pictures will be sent out to families a couple weeks after this day and they will appear in the school yearbook at the end of the year.
