Please join us for our Spring Parent/Teacher social in the inaugural year of Rock the House! The event will feature a band made up of WB parents who will be backing our very own WB teacher's/staff. Book your sitters (don't forget Wyndy gives $5 back to PTO for every completed babysitting job) and get ready for a fun night in support of WB. There are several ticket options including an option to sponsor a teacher to attend the event or sponsor another parent as well as a suggested donation and a free ticket option. We would like everyone attending to register a ticket so we have a proper headcount for the event. All tickets include light bites, drinks and of course one of a kind entertainment - we can't wait to see you there!
Funds raised through this event will be used to support a variety of school needs including:
Purchase and implementation of Security Film on some areas of the WB building that allows students and staff to see out but does not allow visibility in. This is an item we did not have budgeted for this year but are re-allocating funds to purchase.
Purchase of additional Promethean boards for classrooms to help expedite the process of replacing all Clear Touch boards with Promethean boards.
Club Scholarship funds. We had additional scholarships awarded this semester than what we planned for, additional fundraising will help us cover this cost.
Classroom and school wishlist items such as incentives, software programs, classroom supplies etc.
Playground storage and equipment to enjoy in our new playspaces.
